This is a collection of rules and rulings for Iron Dragon from the official FAQ (now archived-the official FAQ doesn’t appear to have survived a website restructure back around 2007) and from various tournaments. It lacks some of the educational value of most of the other entries (it won’t teach you any geography), but the fantasy theme is a winner for me, and the addition of foremen gives players additional useful decisions to make. Iron Dragon, published by Mayfair Games, is my favorite entry in the Empire Builder series of crayon rail games. Overall, i just want to say you dont need to follow the rules as they were a one way path.īut Ameiko was born and grew up in Sandpoint, Varisia and had never seen Minkaian architecture, let alone that she certainly isn't the traditionalist her father wants her to be. Turning a desolated building into a sucessfull tavern requires a lot of work, maybe she could put a lot of "her" in the new building glory. I like to see descriptions as a base where i can work with. In that definition you can read "ameiko turned the establishment in to the town's most successful business" and also "the decoration of the building is inspired in a dragon". Ok, i dont want to be rude, so please forgive my language, i'm from spain and i may not know how to write this so it doesnt sound like i'm an idiot. In fact, the original dragon on which the decoration was inspired by is Tiruvinn, a reclusive adult bronze dragon that has dwelt in a hidden sea cave a few miles north of Nettlewood. She renamed the place Rusty Dragon, apparently after the old iron dragon-shaped lightning rod and decoration that has graced the building's roofline for decades, but whenever anyone asks her about the choice of name, she shrugs and smirks mischievously, as if there's more to the story she's not telling. Pathfinder Chronicles: Dragons of Sandpoint Hinterlands wrote: Tiruvinn: Before Ameiko Kaijitsu retired early from the adventuring lifestyle to buy Sandpoint's oldest inn, the building was a relatively run-down establishment known somewhat dully as the "Sandpoint Inn." The owners were eager to sell the building and retire to Magnimar, but they may now regret the decision as Ameiko singlehandedly turned the establishment into the town's most successful business.
